A Learning Heart.

Sometimes, we get so caught up in trying to build our own happiness. We exert so much energy into trying to find or do things to make ourselves happy, and struggling to keep ourselves together that it becomes exhausting. But in spite of all of our efforts, we often find ourselves simply left with broken hearts and tired hands.

This creative is about that struggle, and the victory in choosing Jesus Christ. It is a story about surrender to the idea that perfect happiness is not something that can be attained through doing certain deeds or having a certain set of circumstances. It is not something that can be fulfilled by the gestures or attention of another human being.  Rather, it is a realization of something greater and allowing the beauty of the present moment to be our guide. It is permitting our Heavenly Father, Lover, and King to dance with us. Happiness is a choice. And we’re free to choose it, provided that we are willing.

Choosing You has been the craziest and best decision I’ve ever made.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me like this. I hope that the one you’re preparing for me won’t be afraid to ask You for my hand, and will be willing to love me this way too.
